Rater Certification

Neurostatus-UHB provides a web-based interactive test and certification tool designed for raters who want to use the Neurostatus-EDSS and its Functional Systems in clinical or academic studies.

This tool is designed to certify raters to perform consistent and reliable assessments of patients.  It allows raters four attempts at obtaining certification, and allows each respective study to set its own certification requirements such as (1) the qualification level, i.e. pass rate required, (2) the validity duration of certification, and (3) the conditions for automatic re-certification of pre-existing certifications.

Once raters have passed the e-Test, they are provided with an official certification document.  Certification, once achieved, is study-specific and only valid in relation to the specified study.

This certification is recognised internationally and is a valuable credential for physicians involved in MS research and clinical trials. Certification is also an important quality assurance measure that ensures that assessments are conducted accurately and reliably.

Access

The certification platform can be found at Neurostatus.net.

Access to the e-Test is only available to raters who are participating in an MS trial registered in the Neurostatus.net platform.

The e-Test takes around 30-60 minutes to complete.
